Updates from your sister missionary in the bubble, full of ample toilet paper, and tanlines...
This week was wild, and not just because of the daily updates and changes for missionary work and the impact of the coronavirus.
The CCM residency is getting smaller and smaller, but our spirits are high, and I couldn't be in a better place.
When all of the changes started happening, initially we were all nervous, but that feeling was quickly overcome by a feeling of peace. Whatever happens happens, and we are all praying they will let us back into the Estados Unidos, but God has a unique plan for us. My entire district had a sweet bonding experience where we shared our experiences about timing, and how specific this time is for us. I am so grateful to be here, at the CCM, surrounded by these spiritual giants. Wherever you are, is where you need to be.
Amidst all of this craziness, we can still have a lot of fun. Maybe too much fun sometimes. One day I scared Hermana Davis soo badly in the bathroom, she screamed loud enough for the rest of the building to hear. #oops
Another bathroom story, a few of us were in the bathroom having a fun little singalong, and I had a little solo moment... letting my little voice shine. I walk out of the stall, and realize to my absolute horror that I was alone. The stalls were occupied, but my district was no longer in the bathroom... you're welcome random stranger for your free serenade. I hope it blessed your day.

It's been determined that I'm the Momma of the group, purse and everything. I wear this title with honor.
For service this week, we got to help in the lavanderia, and it was so fun!! At the end of it, the cute worker started pantomiming arm wrestles, and so we all had a big arm wrestling tournament. Now, I'm not as cool as Aspyn breaking free throw records at the Provo MTC, but I managed to beat my entire district. Shoutout to Coldstone for my forearms. Miss you guys!
Sunday was seriously so special because we got special permission to hold Sacrament Meeting. I will never again take that meeting for granted. Sunday was also my companions birthday, and I did my best to make it a good day for her. I heart attacked her door, and got treats. I think she had a good day!
During this uncertain time, don't forget that when things feel out of control, we are still in control of our choices. Love, serve, and smile. That's all we can do. I know Jesus Christ is the king of peace and He is our Redeemer.
